I have been using www.divvy.com for quite a few months now for scheduling Stewie, my Cessna 172P that is at Boeing Field. For years I was using www.schedulemaster.com, which was great - but is geared more toward flight schools and flying clubs with several aircraft. Cascade Flyers' member, Aaron, started Divvy.com and is constantly improving the site - what a great concept!
Aaron sent a message recently saying, "Do you have any pilot friends that share their airplane? I could use another airplane example as soon as possible! Can you hook a brutha up?"
So, calling all airplane owners in Cascade Flyers, NGPA and everywhere - if you would like to loan your airplane perhaps on the open pilot warranty feature of some insurance policies, or if you have multiple partners, divvy.com would be a great way for scheduling and paying. Click the image to jump to their site.
If you think about it for a moment and let your imagination roam - divvy.com would be great for many useful things. For example, I would love a divvy.com car on the each of the San Juan Islands! When we fly to Orcas/Eastsound, Lopez or Friday Harbor we could venture away from the airport more than just walking distance! You could fly to the Island on Rose Air for example then use a divvy.com car - great idea, eh?
You can actually create anything to loan - not just airplanes, boats, cars, garages, or tools. You can offer services, appointments or events too. Divvy.com is supported by a tiny fee that comes off the transaction so no subscriptions or memberships. Nice. Thank-you Aaron for creating divvy.com!
Thanks for mentioning http://www.divvy.com and the idea of an end-to-end Divvy experience.
I once flew to the OR coast on a whim and had to cross my fingers that the rental car would be available.
The spontaneous, fly-by-the-seat of my pants attitude is fun sometimes, but so is knowing that a car belonging to people I trust will be there when I need it. :)

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.
