The Washington State Department of Transportation - Aviation division's website is full of great resources. It is worth a visit to explore it thoroughly especially for private pilots who like to travel around the state and for visiting pilots too.
WSDOT-Aviation is lead by none other than John Sibold. John is a personal hero of mine. Petty much ALL the funding for airport improvements we have seen around the state likely originated from the massive efforts by John and the department he leads. If you ever have any questions about aviation in Washington please give John a call at his Arlington office. He has dropped in to several Orcas Island Fly In events in the past when he is not flying his float plane to Lake Chelan.
The very popular Pilot's Guide to Washington Airports is available for download as a PDF from the publications link. Even though this guide is a few years old - it is still a great resource. I always carry a hard copy in my flight bag.
From the WSDOT-Aviation's pages you can download from the guide the sheet from just one airport too. For example, if you are flying to the Orcas Island Fly In, you can look at the Eastsound Airport page.
Exploring the website you can find handy bits of information like this CTAF card - of all the airports in Washington.
As I sit here in the Van Nuy's Airtel Hotel, getting ready for a work trip tomorrow, I can look at many airport webcams in Washington. For example, I was just able to experience the sunset from the Roche Harbor Airport. Pretty cool! Plus, a great way to supplement a weather brief too!
I encourage all Cascade Flyers members to check out the WSDOT-Aviation website, AND - please drop John an email to tell him how much we pilots appreciate his tireless efforts and incredible support for Washington State Aviation. Thank you John.
